Adriana Chu is a PhD student in Cancer Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where her research focuses on the tumor microenvironment and fibroblast biology using spatial and single-cell approaches. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Davis and later completed her M.S. at Stanford University, where she developed a strong interest in translational research and biotechnology.

Having trained in the Bay Area and worked in biotech, Adriana brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to her work and is passionate about translating scientific discoveries into real-world impact.

As Co-Chair of the Texas Taiwanese Biotechnology Association, she is committed to building a supportive community for Taiwanese scientists across Texas and fostering connections between academia and industry.

Chester (Yen-Tzu) Chang is a PhD student in Immunology and Cancer Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University and later completed his M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chang Gung University, where his research focused on nanocarrier systems targeting neutrophils for anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial therapies.

With a background spanning pharmacy, nanomedicine, and immunology, Chester is interested in developing translational strategies that bridge drug delivery and immune modulation. 

As Co-Chair, he aims to create opportunities for connection and collaboration among Taiwanese scientists in Texas, while encouraging engagement across academia and industry.
